A big welcome to Olivia Dawn. I first photographed her family when her mommy was pregnant with her first baby Reagan. I captured Reagan as a newborn and one year old. And I was THRILLED when her mommy told me she was expecting again. This baby’s gender was kept a surprise until birth. Exciting! She was a nine pound baby girl. But she had a few complications which landed her in Children’s Hospital for a few weeks where she underwent surgery as well. She was diagnosed with congenital lobar emphysema and had her middle lobe removed. She is now four weeks old and doing so well. I will admit I was nervous about an older newborn but I planned for many open eye shots. To my surprise Olivia slept better than some of my 5-14 day olds. (And better than her older sister did during her shoot 😉

I loved meeting her and love her entire session. She is so beautiful…
