Mom’s Last Chemo | Southern Maryland Photographer

Back Story: My mom was diagnosed with Stage IV Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma in August.

Today was mom’s last scheduled chemo treatment! We laughed just about the entire afternoon and had a wonderful time celebrating this step in her journey. It’s not the end, we know that. There’s a two year maintenance program. But it’s a BIG leap in the right direction. We are so happy, she is happy, you can see that! Krista, my mom’s good friend, came to nearly every treatment and sat by my mom for 8 hours straight. ALL of her friends have been there for her in tremendous ways and I know how thankful she is for them. My mom is seriously strong and beautiful, no cancer is going to beat her down! Thank you family and friends for your thoughts, prayers, and givings. The chemo treatment isn’t the only factor to thank. The support… amazing.

It is truly a Christmas miracle….even her doctor used the word “miraculous”
