Fall Mini Sessions | Southern MD Photographer

Sharing a couple favorite of my mini sessions! I’ll be honest and say I had soo many people contact me and then back out. So scheduling became hectic :/ I’m not quite sure if I will do mini sessions in the future. Or I will come up with a better way to run them, so I have only serious clientele. Still I’m glad I did these for Fall. The foliage is such a gorgeous backdrop!

First up is a little 8 month ham that I have captured four times in his short little life, starting with newborn. This is Aiden’s and his wonderful parents. They are always so much fun to work with and easy going. I love this little guy, and can’t wait for his one year shoot!

Next in line is a family I just meet a few weeks ago for Michaels newborn session. He was the little guy in his Daddy’s racing helmet! His Daddy was off racing so he couldn’t make the session, but Mommy didn’t want to pass it up so she brought along her best friend. Michaels sister Laci loved modeling for me and was so much fun! Oh, and she loves worms 🙂

Next was Luke and his growing family! This was the first time I met this family, but we were already scheduled for their newborn session in February. Lacy is having a little girl, and I am so happy I got the chance to meet them before her arrival! Luke, like most two year olds, made me work for some smiles… but in the end I got plenty 🙂 And seriously, how cute are those suspenders and bow tie?!

And my last mini session was two year old Luke! He gave me a heck of a time I won’t lie!! But look how adorable his dimpled smile is! His Mommy and I worked hard for those couple of smiles! Luke had plans of his own, which included running as far away as possible from the session area 😉 I’m pretty sure his Mommy was thinking he’s lucky he’s so darn cute by the end!! I love the ones we did get though!!

Thanks so much for running this special Jessica. I love the pics and they will be treasured! I’m soo sorry that you had so many back outs. Maybe if you do it in the future, you can make everyone pay full amount (since its not much) up front. Or at least the week before. I wish you had posted that you had people back out! I have at least 3 different families in mind that would’ve jumped at the chance!ReplyCancel

  • These are gorgeous!!! Love the colors.

My Christmas minis are November 3rd & 10th. I require a $25 deposit for mini sessions because I would have people back out too. At least then if they do back out you get paid for some of your time used.ReplyCancel

  • These are totally gorgeous! I wish we lived close Jess, I would hire you to do my family for sure. Amazing colors!ReplyCancel
